About Us

The PCTWe are a dedicated group of over 60 member amateur actors. Our home is Petrolia Ontario Canada, and our actors/members come from all over Lambton County. The PCT was started in 1994 which, by thespian standards is young for a group. However, the caliber of the performances has earned the group praise among its peers. This is an amateur group striving to create professional theatre performances for the community. The high degree of dedication from our volunteers makes this goal reachable.

Our productions have included: Little Women, Ring Round the Moon, Cyrano, A Christmas Carol, Caesar and Cleopatra and Toad of Toad Hall, to name a few. We began in 1994 with about 25 interested persons and have grown each year in members, audiences and expertise.
We have instituted a Theatre Arts Scholarship which may be awarded each year to a deserving student who wishes to further his/her education in the Theater Arts.
Our Productions are held at the Victoria Hall here in beautiful downtown Petrolia. We are very fortunate to be able to use facilities such as this. It is a beautifully restored theatre from the Victorian era.
